Vice President – Innovation Center

The Vice President – Innovation Center will assume responsibility for the following activities:

1. This position will be responsible for the company’s product research and development.
2. Maintaining familiarity with the global R&D market and directing overall technical strategy.
3. Literature and technology review to keep our goals at the cutting edge.
4. Planning and execution of R&D platforms.
5. R&D project management, to include planning, execution, technical transfer, and regular progress summary reports.
6. Engineering novel monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins.
7. Improving the expression of protein drugs in proprietary cell lines.
8. Gene cloning and vector engineering.
9. Creation of a consistent transient expression platform.
10. Building an R&D level purification platform.
11. Construction of an antibody humanization platform.

The desired requirements for this position are as follows:

1. A PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Protein Engineering, Immunology, or related field.
2. At least 10 years of direct experience with gene cloning and protein expression, protein purification, cell line engineering, antibody humanization, and protein engineering.
3. At least 8 years of experience directly managing reports.
4. International study and/or work experience.
5. Fluency in English and Chinese (spoken, written, comprehension) is required.
6. An excellent team manager, with strong technical understanding and the ability to share that understanding.
7. An independent, active thinker, able to function under the pressures inherent at this level of responsibility.
